Making money work for business
The Challenge
To create a new White Oak UK experience for our users, using our award-winning campaign 'Welcome to the flipside'.
Delivered
I designed a new responsive UI for our landing pages, seamless navigation bar, power images when the user lands on the page, prominent CTA buttons making it easier and quicker for the user to apply for finance.
Design library 
Below is the final stages of the UI Kit, selected colour palette consistent with our brand, tree rings I designed to bring depth and colour to the page design. Bigger CTA buttons and brighter landing pages, incorporating both new 'Welcome to the flipside' characters, bold stylised images for particular business sectors that we identified through customer surveys. 
Wireframes
Below is my wireframe sketch and how the final design would look as a prototype using Adobe XD. My objective was to enable users to get the finance they needed as fast and frictionless as possible. ​​​​​​​
What did I learn?
Focus on the minimum viable product
It is tempting to design more features and come up with solutions to non tested problems. But, it’s vital to get the first version of your product out as soon as possible to understand your users and iterate.

Be consistent 
I had to develop new flipside characters and making sure that they worked with the family of characters we already had banked as assets were important. I broke each character down by sector, this made it easier for when I designed the UI for the new landing pages that I could have a consistent look and feel for all our channels.
